We came on board to coordinate the crowdfunding public relations and communications for a stake in the world’s only independent hydrogen fuel cell car company – Riversimple.
We supported Riversimple with engaging PR, video and social media to enable them to exceed their £1m crowdfunding target and are now coordinating PR for a planned second round of funding.
Our efforts helped build confidence in Riversimple as an investment option, directing investors or sign-ups to the site, raising brand awareness and keeping momentum going following extensive launch coverage. On social media we grew the follower base and made key connections.
Coverage came from strong publications, many of whom have Gen X and millennial audiences, comfortable with the concept of crowdfunding and receptive to new and green technology.
We have subsequently handled the PR for the car’s appearance at the London Motor Show, launch of the first UK beta car trial and PR surrounding the car’s first appearance at the iconic Festival of Speed at Goodwood. After forging relationships with key journalists we also helped coordinate key reviews and features.
